Why Waste ?

No animal pollute earth to the level we do. Humans consume seven times more than the nature can repair, transforming earth in to a garbage dump. So called rich and those living in Westernized world consume nature paradoxically in mass scales than the rest.

Waste Issues

Today Sri Lanka, the island in the Indian ocean is struggling to manage the plastic waste that it produces. Even though the island does not have massive factories nor production plants, importation of plastics has increased fourfold over the years.

Waste Management

Waste management is a vast subject. We believe that since man is the cause, we can only find the solutions by working together. Taking waste from one place to another is not sustainable but the best is to Reduce, Reuse and to Recycle.

Help Reduce waste

In Sri Lanka with ‘waste’ there is no time to waste. Sri Lanka has very high level of biodiversity both flora and fauna, resident to many endemic and endangered species. If you can do something to reduce waste in Sri Lanka, you will do a great favor to save this invaluable natural resources.
