Since its inception in year 2006, Ruwan Rekha Outreach has established it’s branch office in Anuradhapura, conducted numerous educational programs, and initiated conservation projects that have received appreciation from nature enthusiasts, local authorities and international well-wishers. Following are some of those initiatives that may be of particular interest to you as someone who is passionate about protecting nature and the restoration of those biodiversity hotspots across the globe.
Our Services
In addition to above six ongoing projects, Ruwan Rekha has identified and in touch with more than 16 village communities within the North Central Province that has the potential to become sustainable tourism villages. These villages can help protect and promote biodiversity, create new livelihood opportunities, and encourage traditional farmers to continue their vital role in supporting national food security. With the right guidance and partnerships, this model can contribute to a more sustainable way of life for Sri Lanka.
